Water, Weed and Wait!
That’s what our greenhouse looked like on Friday but now our greenhouse is empty! That’s because over the weekend we moved all of our plants into the garden and finished planing any seeds that still needed to be sewn. Now we just water, weed and wait!
Last year we made 6 raised beds but only used three. This year we’ve used all six and I’m looking forward to all of the great veggies we’re going to get. The kids a are very excited about the garden this year and spend the morning “helping” us plant. My oldest is even planning to make dinner one night solely from things out of our garden. This year we have planted tomatoes, carrots, radishes, beets, kale, chard, sage, basil, pumpkins, watermelon, cucumbers, hot peppers, sweet peppers and squash. If you’re interested in what we planted where you can check out this year’s garden plan. If we get even a mild yield from this garden we are going to be inundated with food come July!
What’s growing in your garden?
