5. Bone Broth and Soups from your Thanksgiving Leftover Turkey

Bone broth is the best way to use up the “unusable” parts of your leftover Thanksgiving turkey. It’s super simple to make. Submerge your turkey carcass into a large pot of salted water then place the pot on the stove, next add a tablespoon or two of apple cider vinegar, bring the mixture to a boil and reduce to a simmer for a few hours until it’s reduced and the bones are soft. Next, strain the liquid and use it immediately to make soup or store it in the fridge or freezer for later. Once you have this amazingly nutritious bone broth it’s time to make soup! You can use your turkey bone broth in place of chicken in my chicken soup recipe.

Hopefully, these give you some ideas of how to use up those Thanksgiving leftovers without boring your guests and family. Do you have more ideas for using up those Thanksgiving leftovers? Share them in the comments below!
