With the 4th of July providing me with a long weekend I’ve been thinking about doing some crafts with the kids. Here’s a selection of four easy kids crafts that I found to celebrate Independence day.

  • Confetti Popper Rockets over at Alphamom – I am completely in love with these beautiful rockets and the wonderful and well photographed step by step instructions.
  • Home Made Star Shaped Chalk via From Glitter to Gumdrops – We happen to have this exact silicone mold but even if you didn’t have stars these directions for the ever disappearing sidewalk chalk are worth taking a look at.
  • Holiday Lanterns via Martha Stewart – Another great idea that can be changed up depending on the holiday.
  • CD Spinners from Family Fun – These CD spinners are a great option for getting rid of old DVDs and CDs.

I hope you enjoy this list and as always please feel free to stop back and share photos and link of your 4th of July crafts.
