Friday Finds – Dressing The Thanksgiving Table

I’ve found many great ideas this week for decking out your Thanksgiving Table.

Let’s start off with the  centerpiece.  This beautifully charming Indian corn centerpiece can be yours (if you make it.)  Eddie Ross has step by step instructions on how to create this lovely centerpiece.

Martha Stuart has some nature themed napkin ties to keep with the natural theme created by the centerpiece.  These cute Harvest Napkin Ties are super simple to make and one of the main supplies can be gathered in your yard.  If you have kids gathering acorns is a great way to get them involved. There are also a ton of other great ideas in the Everything Thanksgiving section.

Speaking of kids, I think the kids table should be just as fabulous as the adults.  Over at One Charming Party I think they feel the same. They have step by step instructions for creating a wonderful popcorn filled, paper turkey, centerpeice for the kids.  They even suggest having an adult “carve” the turkey with a knife for effect!  I love it.

I too am not hosting Thanksgiving but I LOVE the centerpiece. It could work as a nice fall arrangement just to have on the table.
