Thanksgiving

For the last four years we’ve taken off and had a mini-vacation over Thanksgiving, just our little nuclear family. This gives us an opportunity to reconnect and relax without the stress and worry of others. A time where we can really just break away and have fun. This year we went to Salem, Ma. It was an amazing place with much more than just the traditional “witch” attractions. We visited the Peabody Essex Museum, an art museum in the heart of Salem along with the House of 7 Gables which is on the waterfront. We also took part in our favorite past time, Geocaching. This is where we discovered that the witches lived not where modern day Salem is but in the neighboring town of Danvers, which at the time of the “witch hysteria” was the location of the Salem village.
