There was a rally last in reaction to the president’s veto of the Iraq spending bill. S.I. and S.E. came too and held signs. S.I. tried on all different manner of signs large and small but liked this one the best. The message was, in my opinion, spot on too!

We go to these rallies when ever the come up because we don’t do much else on a daily basis to change the political climate in this country and to try to end this war. The very least we can do is spend our evening on a street corner showing support for ending this war. I am surprised each and every time I go at the lack of young people protesting. We are about the youngest there and since we’re both now in our 30s that’s not saying much. The median age is about 50. The turnout was great and people had cowbells this time which called attention to our group even more.
