We Took Part in a Peace Vigil Tonight

We attended a candle light vigil tonight to honor those lost and to promote peace. We took the kids and Seda was remarkably well behaved.

At the vigil, sponsored by Moveon.org, I noticed a lack of 20/30 something. 85% of the people there were 50 or older and seasoned in activism. We are the adults now, the leaders, the people who make a difference and we are noticeably absent. Is my generation just so jaded that they don’t believe they make a difference?

This nice man with the sign chatted with Seda about pizza 🙂

Hi, The pagan community in Panama City area united with some in the Democratic party here for vigils of support for Cindy. Also, do you visit http://www.democraticunderground.com?

They update often and have good message boards.
