The Nanny Search

So we have three things that we need to get done:

  1. Get a house
  2. Get a nanny
  3. Get a car

Obviously we have accomplished the first one but the other two are taking much longer than expected. We have been searching for a nanny since July. We have offered three different nanny’s the job, one got another job closer to home, one never responded and the last one started but then had a horrible allergic reaction to the cats. So we are back at square one. I have an interview today with a woman named Nadia but I have decided to take a different approach. Instead of wasting my time with phone interviews when a nanny responds to my ad on Craigslist then I will e-mail them additional info about the position and about 5 questions. Based on their answers to those questions I will do a phone interview and then go from there. We really are in dire straights for child care. Right now we have Seda hanging out with my in-laws and Sage with a friend all day. It’s definitely not ideal and Seda keeps saying that she wants to be with Sage.
