Super Simple 5 Minute No Sew Infinity Scarf

Ready to wear

I love the look of infinity scarves and recently came across a way to make a no sew scarf in less than 5 minutes from an old t-shirt. As no sew implies, this method requires no sewing and only the skill needed to use some scissors, so really anyone can make this scarf.

Find an old t-shirt, or buy one at Goodwill. Once you have your t-shirt lay it out on a table and cut the bottom off just above he hem. A rotary cutter is great for this but if you don’t have one some sharp scissors will work well too (that’s what I used).

Cut the bottom

Next cut across the t-shirt just below the sleeves.

Cut below the arm holes

You have now turned your t-shirt into a tube. Pick up the tube and pull on it to stretch it out to make the scarf. Once you’ve done this a few times your brand new no sew t-shirt scarf is ready to wear!

Infinity scarf from a tshirt

This no sew scarf probably takes less that five minutes, if you have your t-shirt handy and you don’t have to go searching for your good scissors because your kids took them. You can wear this t-shirt scarf in many ways I chose double looped around my  neck but I often triple loop it and use it as headband.
