My First Drop

Bunny Nugget
I made my first drop this morning for The Toy Society. I found out about this group from a blog post over at Design Mom. The Toy Society started out as a street art project in Australia and has spread throughout the world. The idea behind the toy society is to create hand made toys and “drop” them at locations frequented by children so they can be taken home and enjoyed.
After reading about The Toy Society I decided to make something. I searched around ravelry and found a great simple pattern for Bunny Nuggets which are super cute and knit up fast. I knitted the nugget last night and dropped it off at a playground this morning. I was nervous and it was early so unfortunately I didn’t get a good photo of the drop.

I’m so excited and hopeful that it will fine a wonderful new home. If you’re crafty jump on board, make a toy and make a child happy!
