First Farm Pickup

We had our first farm pickup yesterday and have had two wonderful meals since then. We received;
1 boc choi
1 red baby boc choi
1 head of oad leaf lettuce
1/2 bowl of arugula
1 bowl masculine
1 bunch of broccoli raab
1 bunch of radishes
3 sprigs of basil
3/4 of a pint of snap peas (which we ate on our way home)
a dozen eggs (off farm)
and I purchased 1 bunch of asparagus for $3

It was a great first pickup.
Tonight I cooked some arugula, because I can’t stand it raw, and it was awesome. I sauteed it with some onion and soy sauce then removed it from the pan. I then sauteed some asparagus and after a while mixed back in the arugula and onion mixture, it was awesome. We also had a salad from the masculine lettuce.

I’m so glad that our farm pickups have begun!
