I just downloaded and installed Blogger for Word and after a little finagling with a Microsoft XML parser update I am good to go.  Now I can create and edit my posts in the all too familiar interface of Microsoft Word.  This is a great thing for such a poor speller like me.  

Will has been talking lately about all of these internet based comics he’s been getting into lately.  It is wonderful how many doors the internet opens.  As someone who once thought about a career in art it was quite a daunting task getting your work in front of the right people.  Now with the internet it is much easier to get your work out there.  You still won’t succeed if it’s not quality or if people aren’t interested but things are on more of an equal footing and the work is what’s important not who you know.  I may be stating the obvious here but blogs are the same way.  Now everyone has a voice and tools like Blogger for Word are making these new technologies even more accessible to those who are not technical.
